Part of leam valley churches
We are the Church of St Mark in Flecknoe, Warwickshire. Situated in the beautiful Leam Valley, Flecknoe lies in a lovely rural location to the south of Rugby. With St Peter's Church in Grandborough, All Saints Church Leamington Hastings and St Nicholas Church in Willoughby, together we make up the Leam Valley Churches.
We are a small but friendly congregation so please come and join us - you will get a warm welcome!
In light of the current Coronavirus situation, the Church of England has decided
to suspend all worship services until further notice.
However, there are lots of options for you to access services and reflections online:
#LiveLent: Care for God's Creation - the Church of England's Lent campaign for 2020. With weekly themes shaped around the first Genesis account of creation, it explores the urgent need for humans to value and protect the abundance God has created. This daily audio content is available via the app and daily emails. Sign up for free.
The BBC's Daily Service and Sunday Worship - radio programmes will be using some of the themes from #LiveLent as part of their broadcasts.
Prayer for the day - each day the Church of England publishes audio and text of the Prayer for the Day.
Smart speakers – daily prayer and #LiveLent audio content can be accessed via our smart speaker apps.
Live streaming services - you can watch live streams of services from a range of churches:
The church building will remain open during the day time. It's a lovely peaceful place to pray or just sit for a few moments if you are feeling overwhelmed. As we don't have hand washing facilities and we are struggling to get hold of hand sanitiser, please take sensible hygiene precautions.
In Flecknoe, we have two main services a month:
a traditional Holy Communion at 9am on the second Sunday of the month
the Breakfast Service, which is particularly suitable for families and includes breakfast, at 9am on the fourth Sunday.
Across the Leam Valley Churches, there are services every Sunday at different times and locations. For more information, have a look at the Leam Valley Churches main calendar.
10am - postponed
9am - suspended
